Dreams

Last night was nice. For ome strange reason I was living in Spain . I had a nice bunglaow house.

Then mum came to visit. She was staying in a nearby hotel but wanted to come and see me. She was in her mid 30s (I know this because she was wearing an awful black raincoat that she lived in at that time due to her thyroid going wrong and her thinking the coat made her look slim..) and best of all she had my little brother John with her. She was healthy and happy and he was as shy as ever but grinning..

Last night.. I was having a nightmare, and I started to wake up from it... but then I felt like someone was next to me.. then I felt pressure like someone stepping on the right side next to me then to the left... walking over me... then I felt like the bottom half of my body started to float upwards. It was so scary! It took me a while to fall back asleep after that.. IDK if it was some form of sleep paralysis. I did not open my eyes because I was afraid of what I'd hallucinate.. and I was afraid to try to scream in case whatever it was didn't know I was there I know it's not real, but it just feels so real in the moment.


Then last night, I know I was running around in my dream a lot.. but then there was this part with a giant grizzly bear going right for me. It scared me enough to will myself awake.. and my heart was racing IRL for a while afterward.


I get a lot more sleep troubles when my health is out of whack... UGH!

Heather, I think i would have put the light on for the rest of the night...

The other day... I had a few dreams... I only remember pieces.

In one part, I was in a town, and there were snakes all over the place.. I started to run away and tell people, but apparently they were all gone by the time I tried to get them to look. But then there was another snake that was this strange yellow-ish color with some black on it, and it looked more like something you'd see in the ocean... it was coming at me, so I started to run because I wasn't sure if it was venomous or not lol then later I was researching it in my dream, and all of a sudden I saw a fish tank with this 'snake' in it, and it was called a 'glow worm.' It was literally glowing in the fish tank with water, and it was pretty big... so it was a weird sea creature that wasn't actually a worm or a snake... something my brain made up.


Another part... I was looking out a window in what was supposed to be my house (my dream houses are always nothing like any houses I live in lol) and there was this inflatable giant dinosaur character... but then the air machine was sucking up and chopping leaves all over the place, and it started to get clogged and the dinosaur started to flap around all over the place.


That's all I remember

I read that story too, but it had a different ending. It was just one guy, and he ran through the snakes. then came back, bolted the door and burned the shack down.

I have horrible dreams: I don't want to remember them.

I guess not, but I did grow up in south FL... doesn't really get cold there lol

I seemed to remember the shack being burnt down but was not sure so I didn't mention it. It may be the same story, just my memory.

Thats a pretty scary situation. 

I'd forgotten you were educated by nuns, a_muppet: so were my dad and his sister is rural Ireland. My aunt has many tales to tell about those nuns.

I bet few of those stories involve warmth and compassion.  

Yes, I came across one in Loughborough, closeby a patient I visited. It closed down some while ago now. Having just  glanced on the internet it seems the convent may have re-opened in a more suitable building.The old building was listed and deemed unsuitable (I suspect expensive to run).

Heather, maybe skip the saffron and see what happens tonight.
