Does anyone ever actually see their partner in their dreams?

Mine usually is in my dreams, but somehow not in view.

My dream last night... well, let me start by saying it was abruptly ended by the smell of my dog who pooped next to me But... it was an interesting dream that was likely going to continue for a while.

In one part of my dream, I was in this dark room. Apparently it was my bedroom. There were about 3 makeup vanities that looked different spaced around the room... they all had mirrors. I had a rack of clothing I was looking through.. basically, it was items I would think about (items I would not normally even wear, though), and I was shopping without being anywhere, and then the item would just appear there, and I'd own it. I felt like I was stealing, though. I thought everything was stolen! lol

There were also some decorations and other items I had. One was kind of hard to describe.. but it opened up in 3 tiers. It kind of spun to open like a moving staircase. I think maybe it was a place to store trinkets and jewelry. There was also a very tiny mirror in the largest part. REALLY TINY. Pointlessly small.. you can see your eyeball in it.

After that, I was randomly on a beach near a pier. There was one of those blue sea dragon (Glaucus atlanticus)... those creatures that people describe as looking like a Pokémon. It was flopping around, so I decided to rescue it. However, instead of being normal and just placing it back into water, I decided to put it in my pocket to take it somewhere safe. I started running (I don't run), as it was getting dark. I eventually had to turn on a flashlight to see where I was going while running, too. At this point, I did not feel like I was even myself anymore. I think I was maybe a young man?? lol

As I was running across the beach, I heard noises that were sexual in nature.. I think people were having sex on the beach, but I didn't look, and thankfully it was too dark to see, but they didn't like me running near them. One of them started to call out to me, and they seemed to have confused me with the brother of whoever the girl was... the male started to chase after me. I kept running and running, and then eventually the sun was coming back up. I was in this small town that looked like one giant tourist attraction. There were small buildings with that tiki hut kind of vibe. One of the buildings had a bunch of imagery attached showcasing the different things to do in the area or some mythical creatures one could encounter but nobody has ever really seen... like bigfoot or the lochness monster, but they were ones my brain had made up instead.


And then.... the poop smell IRL hit my nose, and I immediately awoke, so I didn't get to finish my quest of brining the creature wherever the heck I was trying to bring it. I have no idea where I was going... the entire dream was made up places lol I did try to go back to sleep after cleaning up after the pup, but I couldn't fall asleep anymore.. no more dreams

I can interpret it.. I'm weird.

Weird and slightly disturbing. I was on a metro.. (foriegn) with my stepmother the station led straight into a huge department store. She went through the turnstile using a fingerprint id I had an old paper ticket and so I was delayed slighlty when I caught her up she was on the phone to my half brother (died 2018) about my dad ( died 1985) drinking coffee in the woods and she was saying 'its ok there is nothing you can do to stop him its just his way..

Then the water gurgle woke me up...

I shall try to phone her today... Not normal for her to be in my dreams.

I dreamt we moved back into our bungalow, and the bath was missing. So we had to use the other bathroom. Fortunately, our house had grown another bathroom.

A fair point, and well made. 

It does look beautiful and serene.

So, the main part of a dream I remember from last night was a part with a somewhat large dog in it. I was trying to give it some commands, so one of them was to "wait," but the dog apparently thought I meant, "weight," and they grabbed literal weights LOL then I told them to sit, and they sat on me. Then I told them to go into their bed, and they wouldn't budge. I was just trapped under this dog sitting on me

Did it feel comical at the time?

No lol it felt like "WTF is going on."   I mean, if that happened to me IRL, I would have found it comical and laughed.. but dream me didn't feel that way! I felt like I was in a rush to do something, and the dog was holding me up.
