When/what/who was your first dance with?

LOL this guy came up and asked me: "if I asked you to dance, would you say yes?

I said "Pardon?"

I couldn't believe it lol

I said "Yes", and he walked away. It was about 15 minutes before he came back and asked me to dance.

He was an awesome dancer. I loved watching him move.

My first official dance was in the 6th grade.

In the school gym.

I went with a few of my friends and the DJ was playing some awesome music.

So we were almost the first ones on the floor, dancing with each other like in a group.

But I of course was really there for the boys.

So I broke from the group and kind of moved over to the sidelines
where some boys were standing.

All it took were a few smiles and glances, and this one guy, the cutest I thought,
asked me to dance.

We danced like to 10 songs in a row.

Then some other kids joined in.

I talked to some other girls and they were spending time saying
who they liked, didn't like, yayaya.

I just went back out on the floor and rocked.

I still love to dance.

Some girls spent all their time saying no to all the boys
that asked them.

I knew then and there how different I was from them.

To this day when the others are saying no, I'm nodding over here. (for Cher)

Yeah I don't recall any aggression on the dance floor.

I love to dance.

When I go to Mitzvahs even the older men will dance with me.

They would rather endow themselves with

then let their hair down a bit.

That's what my dad says anyway.

My mom may be a bitch but she's
a hot bitch for sure.

She loves to dance too, and my dad is as good as her.

I have often wondered why guys are not aggressive with me?

ive still never actually danced with someone before.. okay yeah i have danced with my girl friends in the club, but not a guy and not a slow romantic dance- ever

Plenty of time?? Not when you are dating people who would never slow dance with you lol I'm not sure how many guys would actually want to of their own free will.

Yeah I think we all started out dancing with other girls.

Even today I like to hip hop with my friends
at a club waay more than with guys.

To be honest I never slow danced with another girl
like you know, out.

I don't think I'm quite there yet.

I actually dislike this band, they started off as left wing socialists before selling out.

But they did two awesome tracks, of which this is my favourite.
