You know their accuracy is out by one whole sign, don't you?

We are all advanced by one. I read about this a few years ago. I think it is to do with the time between us "discovering" them, and now, since they have moved on, vis a vis the red shift.

.....and besides, us capricorns, are not superstitious enough to believe in horoscopes.

im confused at what your asking? what our star sign is? or whether we believe in psychics?
either way im a Pisces and yes i kind of do! i have been to see a clarevoyant and some things that were said were just too weird to be a lie. ill list a few!
she told me that me and my OH would have problems with our knees later in life (maybe a coincidence but we do)
she said in her words 'you wont move out just yet, and if you do even sooner then you wont move too far from 25' (25 was my mums house number, i moved in with my OH whose house number was also 25)
she told me that a male in my life is in terrible pain and that he will start telling people, she told us to believe him because its not often he complains in pain (my grandad was suffering chronic pain with his elbows)
she talked about my grandma alot, she said to me 'you know when you feel that tickle on our cheek, thats your grandma letting you know shes there'.. i do always rub my cheek on my shoulder bcos of a tickle.

lastly, when i walked out she said to me 'oh, ill see you later ballerina girl' thats what my grandma used to call me, after the song by Lionel Ritchie.. now tell me how the heck would she know that??

I got a psychic reading once.. tarot cards.. for fun while in New Orleans... I just did it for the experience.

I have read horoscopes for fun before, too.. it's only fun if it's accurate for the day of course. You know, broad/vague enough to fit my circumstance. I have done sign and birth date compatibility tests for fun, too, but I wouldn't take them seriously.

Do I believe in psychic abilities? I'm not sure. I dream about things before they happen sometimes, but it's mostly mundane things. Maybe it's predetermined life paths that we pick up on, and that is creepy to think about. No, I don't believe this to be the case, but I enjoy thinking about crazy things like that sometimes.. it's interesting. I just have no explanations.

That has been explained, it is the visual equivalent of the adrenalin shot, from the fight or flight system.

Basically, your nerve sends the signal straight to your brain instantly, as opposed to it taking the usual 32nd of a second to accept and identify it in your brain.

ergo, you think you have already seen it, when the second 'conscious version' arrives that little bit later.

She is very wrong.

It is nice to feel loved though, you shouldn't have to guess if it is so, or work it out.

Have you actually asked her? Have you explained your needs to her?

You are now a fully grown adult, perfectly capable of having a husband and a family, your mother is entitled to hear your opinion, and any queries that you have over your shared relationship. You would speak to a husband of such concerns! Your mum deserves similar, she is not solely to blame here.

I agree that she sounds selfish, but perhaps, "didn't think it all through" is more accurate. What do you think?

You can't actually know that about you and your children. It is great that you are determined to make it so.

My ex was not loved by his mother, and she was not loved by her father [her mother died young]. There were plenty of hugs, kisses, I love you's, gifts, supports etc. But they never counted coz he knew they weren't real, and he was right.

I knew that, coz he didn't love anyone either. They were a family incapable of love, but all desperate to be loved.

I'm a Pisces. I do believe it's good at interpreting personality types. It's pretty accurate about my personality type, but not at day to day stuff. It's NEVER been accurate with that for me.

Tarot cards are pretty accurate, too. That's why they scare me. One time, my friend read my tarot card to me and it said that everyone was going to leave. It really upset me and one of my friends got angry at me and it led to this downward spiral where all my friends at the time stopped speaking to me no matter what I said or did.

But then later, another friend read my tarot cards, when I first started dating my husband and they said,"The past has been really bad, but the future will be wonderful." And I had a few secrets about my past I hadn't told anyone at the time and based on what the cards said, my friend guessed them all, but I lied and told my friend that those guesses were incorrect. LOL. But the cards KNEW!

Also, before my husband and I ever met, a psychic told my husband that he would meet his soul-mate at the exact time he met me and gave the full name of the person who would introduce us. So I believe that sometimes psychics are correct, but that a lot of them are liars and just want your money, so you have to be careful because they are good at reading people.

I think you are being disrespectful by calling all those doctors, "people!"

I think they are intended as stimulants more than scientific accuracy.

None of them are truly negative, most contain descriptive positives,
that we like to think pertain to us.

They are just for fun and relatively harmless methinks.

and, as I have said, they are out of sync anyway!
