Certain states are pro-active while others aren't. Australia started saving my friends years ago. I love OZ! But, you already knew that. I'll go into the site to check out the bee-friendly states. I love beeing the honeybee newscaster!

I am she! So, here's the news: As of Sept. 28, the most bee-friendly cities in the U.S, are Asheville, NC, Bismark, ND, Apalachicola, FL, Talent, OR, Clarkson, KY, and Seattle, WA. Initially I was surprised to see some cold weather cities on the list, but then I realised that my little friends take a nap during the Winter months.

Last month the courts ordered DOW to remove one of its insecticides from the market because it was not bee-friendly. And I didn't miss your last line, Bee-Girl. Regarding hymenoptera, I don't mess with wasps because they sting you, even unprovoked. I refer to bees as my little friends because they don't do that. They crawl onto my finger; I would never allow a wasp to do that!
