I haven't seen it, but looked it up. The two stars went into a virtual hibernation for 500 years only to awaken to a world that had definitely changed for the worse. Unfortunately for us, we aren't in hibernation, but are witnessing it anyway.

The idea was great, the comedy was not so clever.

Basically, it was about how humans had genetically downsized to the state that stoopid, was the norm.

Their crops were dieing, for the simple reason that as people preferred lemonade to water, so crops were given lemonade not water.

From Heather's story, it seems to be happening.
