I believe a person should please themselves when dressing: wear what makes you feel comfortable and stylish*. Don't dress to please others. Also: enjoy fashion! Fashion is exciting and for everyone: not just for the models in the photographs.

A friend of mine's husband used to say that as all her clothes were black, her wardrobes and drawers always looked empty.

The only reason I don't have all black clothing is because my mom buys me clothes (she loves shopping) lol she loves buying me things with colors, so I have accumulated a lot of colorful clothes over the years. I'm not too fussy, and I don't normally care about what I'm wearing, but I looove black.

^^ but that is exactly why it's nice to wear it and not have to think about it. it all just goes together. i don't wear a ton of black but i wear a lot of heathered light grey. i love colorful clothing but most days I'm too brain-busy to think about what to wear so I end up wearing the same thing for days and have enjoyed well-fitting/flattering uniforms in the past. but when doing something out of the ordinary i like to dress it up.

Yes... I can end up wearing the same thing for days if I was only in it for a short while.

I might be biased for heather colors..... ;p I've seen some nice grays and even greens called heather for clothes.
