Video Games

It's hard to decide sometimes. The oldest got in on beta access for Unreal Engine 5 (which is used to create video games) but now that it's the regular release, it's not working with the graphics card of the refurbished desktop and we don't know whether to get a newer card. The laptop couldn't handle the program well because of less memory.

Another one where upgrading might not have been the best choice - gettings the Win 11 upgrade on the laptop and finding some things weren't working the same as in Win 10. The desktop won't have the right hardware so far to get Win 11, and that might be just fine! (I don't remember whether the graphics card is the holdup, but it could be.)

Sometimes I like waiting, and sometimes I like being in on the beta!

to me nintendo doesn't have much for video games that interest me. many of them look like gameboy games with color and i don't like that. some of the games get all this hype and you get them and they're broken. or there's no tutorial or any kind of gameplay guide. it's ridiculous.
they're making the new games really hard to play so i been dumping them. i dumped 3 already. i went in and got 3 freebies. if they can't do any better than this then i'm gonna start waiting til they go on sale. the hell with it.

watched a movie about these triplets that found each other when they were college age. it was a real life story. it was good. you will need kleenex.

I have been redownloading some of the games I set aside. I'm gonna keep playing House Flipper here in a bit.

Well Among Us was a flop and I don't like the Switch Version. So I set it aside.

Tonight I am getting ready to design a nursery for expecting parents on House Flipper. I think I gained a new tool to start working on the office house I'm in and maybe I can sell it and get a new office. LOL! My IRL house is a mess but the game ones aren't. *Grins*

Minecraft has a peaceful mode on PC... is it on the Switch??  You can probably play it on even a crappy laptop honestly.. it's not very graphically intense lol then you can get the peaceful mode you want! We turn that on when we want to just explore the whole world endlessly without anything bothering us.

I can't get it to run on the computer and it's even locking up on my Switch. Since they introduced Realms into the whole Minecraft thing it freezes up on me on the Switch plus I don't even know what to do. There's no goals or direction or anything. Staxel is like Minecraft in peaceful mode but with life simulation goals if that makes sense. I actually might like this game. Enjoying house flipper now that I'm getting into it more. I thought about getting Pokemon Violet but, I have let's go Pikachu and that's enough. I'm not a huge Pokemon fan so one game is plenty. If I like the new story of seasons it's a wonderful life then I might get that and dump the older one.

Well so far I like Staxel. I'm sure there was crafting mentioned but I haven't gotten far enough along yet.

The only video game I ever played was the Xbox series that you can stimulate the skiing, archery, table tennis, tennis....I don't even remember the name of that XBox version. It has been so long ago.

I actually played that one. You're right. it was fun. 

I liked Wii Tennis.

After I shower I'm gonna play some more Staxel, that game that's similar to Minecraft. I think I'm gonna enjoy that one.

so kjay how many cats u find? i found all of them on the 1st floor. but 2nd and 3rd all but 1. this is hard. lol!

so i got fortnite redownloaded and my old acct. was still running so i changed my username to DeathByZa and looked at some more videos on switch settings and made some adjustments. will do some trial squads tonight and see how things go. may have to tweak. since the kids seem to just crush this game so well i been looking at their settings. lol! we'll see how it goes.
