I started Fallout: New Vegas again. I never finished the first time around, and I lost my save files on an older computer. I'm going to try to beat this before July or so... eh, no promises, though.
I wanted to start the Witcher 3 (it's my favorite game series), but... I'm going to wait until they fix all the bugs and release the DLCs :-) So I am being patient and waiting a couple months after release (which was in mid May).
There is also a Fallout 4 coming, so I'll be caught up for that, too.
I really have too many games, and I feel like I will never be able to play them all. Too many cool, newer games keep coming out, and a lot of open world games that require a lot of time to beat. If only I could be paid to play video games all day, then I could beat them all!! ;-)
I am A HUGE HUGE HUGE Dragon Age fan. I even run/own my own Dragon Age fan site and have written over 100,000+ words of DA Fan Fiction.
(I was in an accident a few years ago and got into gaming as I had nothing better to do while I recovered. I ordered Dragon Age Origins and it I can say with all honesty it changed my life in a big, positive way.)
Sorry to hear about the accident, but nice to see a fellow gamer here :-) I have actually never played Dragon Age, but I wanted to when it originally came out.
Have you tried any other games so far? Ones similar to DA?

I have tried some other games but I think DA has spoiled me. I won't play a game where I have to play as male (or I would be playing W3 right now) and only like RPG games. DA has just won me over with their F/F romance options. There are a few games coming along in the pipe like that appeal to me but not released yet.
Hm, yeah, a lot of RPGs at least let you make a female character. Unless it's about a particular person (like The Witcher), then you are out of luck =p I always make female characters if given the chance! I like feeling like a badass woman lol
You know, I think games are slowly adding more romance options (for female characters) in general. In the past, a majority of the games I played had only female companions (with unavoidable flirtation) lol That's what happens when they give one or two characters as the romance option, but allow people to be either male or female lol
I think the F/F options are still for the males, though ;p

In the DA games I dont think that is the case,,, certainly not with Sera as she is a lesbian in the game (she was written specifically for the lesbian community, Also in all of their romances if a woman character is allowed to be romanced by either gender PC, there options and choices are not the same. The process of romancing are quite different. isabela one of their more famous characters even points out that "The truth is, sweetness, that men are only good for one thing, while women are good for six."
There has been a BIG blow back in the DA community from men this time around because Sera no matter what, can't be romanced by men at all, she won't even flirt with them and takes the piss out of them for it as well and she is one of the more traditionally feminine characters in the game, So I have to disagree with you there, They purposely included female-female relationships (as well as male-male) for the LGBT community. They have won lots of awards both in gaming and writing circles for it, It is something BioWare takes great pride in, Their head writer for the whole DA series was a gay man for its entire run as well.
I was partially joking (because of how much men seem to love lesbians and that type of porn), and I was not referring to DA, as I have never played it.
The comment was more true for games I have played in the past. The ones that are very male oriented, yet if there is the ability to play a female character she still has the same script as the male... and the same love interests. I do not believe it is with females in mind, and that was mainly my point.
I have been gaming for.. well, way too long (20+ years), so I have seen too much =p Lots of improvements, though!
School right now is preventing me to do much playing right now.... But I play World of Warcraft (For the Horde) and I've tried out Diablo, but again no time for that..... And id like to play Rift and Guild Wars but they eat at our internet data usuage limit with how it pulls from the Internet to do the group server events stuff.
And I also like Animal Crossing on the Wii and Cooking Mama on the DS and hoping one day I can get #2 and Gardening Mama...... And I like the hidden object games.
"My heroes burn rubber, they bleed octane, they bite steel. They risk their lives on every turn on every track. My heroes race cars...fast cars...that's right baby...I'm a race fan!"
This is sort of video game related, but then it's also a bit more than that..
I just want to say that I do not find the characters to be that unrealistic. Maybe the boobs are a bit unrealistic, but not if you consider how many women get breast implants lol shouldn't most fighters and women who are physically active all the time be "fit"?
I'm 'almost' like some on the left, but without the boobs. I'm really not far off from the Rikku character. I do plan on being a bit more toned eventually, though lol
I have seen women with bodies like those on the left and like those on the right. I just think it's weird that if a character is shown as those on the left that people feel the need to make a chubby version and deem it "realistic"... when both can be realistic, or close to it at least.
These characters are supposed to be in shape, so if anything they need to add more muscle tone to be "realistic" to who/what these characters are. And more clothing, maybe? lol

I play video games sometimes. I don't have a good computer, but my husband owns an xbox 360 and I have a playstation 2, gamecube, and nintendo 64. We want to get an xbox one eventually.
I love all the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games. <3 I also love Paper Mario 1 and 2. Those are my favorites.
I just started playing Fallout for the first time. I am playing Fallout: New Vegas right now.
I need to get back to Dragon Age: Inquisition. I am right at the end of it, but I haven't finished it. Partly because I still don't have my specialty. I'm a mage and to get your specialties, you need to depend on random drops that almost never drop, so I am just going to area after area and killing everything and hoping for random drops and it got boring, so I set it aside. I just don't want to beat the game without getting my specialty at least. *sigh*
Also, @autumnwitch!!!! You NEED to play the Mass Effect games if you haven't already, trust me. They are made by the same company that made Dragon Age and they are just like the Dragon Age games with the role playing and the playing a girl and the romance options, except instead of playing a mage, rogue, or warrior, you shoot people in outer space. You'll love them.

I started Fallout: New Vegas again a couple months back to try to finish it. I played it a few years ago, and I lost the save files. But... I got a little bit passed the part I was at last time, but I'm starting to lose interest lol
I recently bought a Humble Bundle of Tom Clancy games. It was a little bit of everything.. Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Rainbow 6.... I even will have access to the new Rainbow 6 multiplayer beta.. all for $10.
Other than that, I have been playing Dota 2 a bit more again. Took a break from it for a while, but they are using a new engine for the game now, and they have a new UI... and a bunch of custom games now.
I have been playing Plague Inc. and Dota 2 mostly. I also started on the bundle games I mentioned previously. I think I'll be trying out World of Warships sometime today... My boyfriend asked me to join him. He just started it last night, and I guess he likes it lol
The other games I tried so far:
The first Ghost Recon.... Not into it. It was making me motion sick, so I stopped.
The first Splinter Cell... like it! I played the other ones, but that was my first time playing the first one. The only problem was that near one of the final missions my game pretty much crapped on itself, so I can't finish it... lol my saves are messed up randomly. So, oh well... I'll just move on to another one sometime soon.
I tried the Rainbow Six Siege Beta... That was pretty fun. My ping was horrible every time, though lol it also kept crashing for a while... until I updated my video card, doh!
Haha. You might need to use it through Steam or something. Is it an early access game? I'm not sure if there are a few games with the same name, but one I saw was an early access through Steam.
Yeah, looks like you might need Steam for it. Not sure if you can play a torrent copy of it that way, though ;p You'd have to purchase it on your Steam account.
The latest games I have played are... Skyrim (did most of the main quests, have to work on more of the DLC quests), Plague Inc. (well, there is a pandemic going around, so I was inspired to play again), and CS:GO Battle Royale (play it with my SO).
