what are you grateful for today?

Having had a wonderful lie-in. I feel all refreshed and awake.

the cool weather, and long may it continue.

mainly that I don't have to cook for the next 3 nights. I've been cooking all week, and well.. let's just say it's always ended up back in the sink.

tonight a friend is cooking me a curry, tomorrow I have mcdonalds, and on saturday I'm going to a pub quiz and will probably eat there

- The weather has cooled, and we've had some rainy nights.

- Got in more walks over the weekend than usual.

I feel blessed to have my own apartment.

- my Star Trek magazine (Explorer) finally being here - almost bought a copy at the store because I was impatient for the delivery LOL (Would have given the extra one to the oldest teen for his mag collection.)

- Birthday gifts chosen for the kiddos already - while I'm ordering for one, I might as well choose for three and have the ideas saved for the right order date...

Having my part-time job. I was looking for a job as an admin assistant in my hometown for a few years. I'd thought it would never happen: that I'd have to go into town on the bus. Instead my admin job fell into my lap. It helped that I had contacted the volunteer bureaux myself, though: it wasn't all down to luck. No: I went to the volunteer bureaux and was told to keep looking. Then the boss of the bureaux contacted me and offered to have me work for her! It is a dream come true.

Hence why I am happy.

Feeling better than I did yesterday

I got the jobs I wanted to do this morning done.
