I did once cut my face out of a picture and put it on a slim persons picture, then photographed that.

I wanted to see what I would look like if I was not clinically obese. I did like it, though it was the old days, and I had to wait to finish the roll of film, then get it developed.

I did like the look, but it didn't make me do anything about it really. It was years later that I started a reducing diet.

@mary, lol I like your new avatar, that one is funny. A self-absorbed person taking a selfie while being eaten by a shark.. classic You do hear about so many influencers dying while taking selfies these days, craziness.

well...maybe i can find some images and have a jane austin series of avatars. i will look into it.

Also, Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey. And my favourite: Persuasion, her last finished novel. I was reading from an annotated edition this morning.

We never really covered her at school, so not really familiar...

But go for it in your inimitable style.
