Dress code is so stupid (G)

My high school didn't have a dress code, but I wished I went to a school that had a uniform! My home country's high schools typically make students wear uniforms, but they're not particularly stylish. If I could relive high school (which was only 5-6 years ago for me - I graduated 2021, but at that time, I was participating full-time in a community college program), I'd like to wear very beautiful and almost vintage stylish clothes that is modest but pretty! I wish that students would be able to personalize their uniform though just a little bit like adding pins or brooches. 

From what I remember of school it used to happen anyway. There were always ways and means. I do remember there were one or two who didn't go to the main stockist of uniforms and bought either better quality or, like in the case of jumpers, they had home knitted. Even without brooches or badges there were obvious differences.
