I just found out about it. From what I gather, one has six tries to guess the five-letter word-of-the-day. I just played for the first time, and I got it in four tries!

I had a quick try and managed it in four too although probably more by luck than judgement lol.

There is a quiz program on the TV here, the name of which escapes me at the moment, which is very similar in the way that words have to be guessed within a certain number of goes, letters being filled in.

I did think about that as I was doing it. I even looked at the ip address and determined it was Uk before I entered the word as I would not expect it in the US although I think I have heard the term used for some localities there (or it may be just a local term for some?).

You type in a random 5-letter word to start. Then if a letter is correct and in the right spot, it will turn green, so keep it there when guessing words each time. If the letter is not in the word you're trying to figure out, then it will stay gray, so don't use that letter again.

I won't either.. I don't seem to know so many words like that to even be any good at it lol I could hardly think of anything. I consider it more like a joke game for a quick laugh if you don't mind dirty words to begin with ;p
