Here in Okinawa, Japan, they stay up until 00:00 and there are singers all through the night doing live singing and shows. Also, we eat a noodle called Okinawa soba. It's yummy. How about you?

We usually open a bottle of sparkling red wine (only because it's my favorite), go out in the middle of the street on the north end of the house, toast the New Year at midnight and watch the AdAmAn Club's fireworks display on Pikes Peak.

I hate new year..
dang, I would hide too. pssh
here you go a brief introduction to New Year in the Netherlands. If Im not mistaken this video was made in 2019 around 1300 people ended up in hospital many needing eye surgery, some with hands blown off and one man blew his own head off leaning over an illegal firework when it went off.
The damage to property was in the millions...
Here in the north Carbide is popular and although often only let off in the countryside its just as dangerous..This house lost all its windows!
I'm either working or ringing in the new year with the celebration on Animal Crossing New Horizons. Or both. I never have a reason to do anything otherwise.

I like a quiet New Year's Eve at home, watching movies or TV specials. I don't always stay up till midnight here, but I pick a timezone farther east of us and say that I'm celebrating New Year's with them! 8 pm here would be Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (where I used to live for a few years), 9 pm is Ontario with my cousins (and Dad's hometown), 10 pm is Saskatchewan (more cousins there), and 11 pm is Alberta (more cousins and a nephew there).
On my 120th Birthday, with my wife holding my hand. Thanks for asking lol
Have you ever seen, or known, anyone over 100?
Once you get to around 90, the deterioration of the body really starts to accelerate. No-one ever looks at a centenarian and says "You are never that age?"
