Troublemaker Friend

Right now you know she can the next time she tries it on you know what to say...

Vicky's mum died on Friday: she had pneumonia. She died with Vicky watching her draw her last breath.

Vicky had a mental breakdown and is now in a mental hospital.

I'm so sorry to hear this Candy. Hopefully Vicky will be okay.

The wounds are very raw. She did say something that angered me but in her present state she isn't in control of her emotions. I cut her some slack. She deserves sympathy and not scorn.

Anyhow, I am praying for Vicky.

I imagine you are not the only pair these days. Some people are perpetually on the phone to their friends. I see people when I am out walking, walking their dog and not really seeing anything as they are on their phone. I imagine that, with many friendships, things may get too much in the end. I suppose the dog does get it's walk but those whose owner (loses the phone and) throws the stick or ball for the dog results in a far more satisfying relationship.

I spoke to Vicky again last night. She seems better for having her stay at the hospital.

I know I've been harsh with Vicky BUT I don't like being called 20 times a day. I don't hate Vicky at all - or want her hurt - but I need her to hold back on the telephone calls a little.

You are too caring and accommodating Candy, but if it gets to you, you need to step back.

Tricky times for you both.

I don't know what to think Karen, they both sign the same song, but the older one, Lyle does not not appear to be credible, the younger one appears to be more truthful.

I have good news: my friend telephoned last night. She hadn't called because she had run out of phone credit and the storm.

Her old friend - we'll call her Sally - is now talking to Vicky. I bumped into this old friend the other day in town. It can't be a coincidence. But Sally and Vicky are friends again. PLUS it is Vicky's birthday today.

I am glad Vicky has something to celebrate!
