Shouldn't you be in bed yourself?
What time do you call this?
actually no. i don't have to work tomorrow and i usually stay up till at least 4 a.m. and it's only 11 after right now. i work 3 p.m. till 11:30 p.m. and hang out till 4 or whenever i get sleepy.

Yeah I try to keep to a schedule. It's important to get enough rest especially with the work I do now. I can't afford to be draggin ass. You do get a routine after a while though. Sometimes I can't sleep for days at a time. I usually make a couple mixed drinks and that takes care of it. LOL

Once you get into a work routine, then life becomes a lot easier. That is when I tend to start looking at what I am doing, and see if I could get a little more efficient. I even do that in my day to day routines lol. Yesterday, I decided I could distribute my vitamins in a more efficient manner. I can't help it, it's just what I do.

I am realizing that more and more since my daily routines have been put aside since my husbands accident.
I know you know this already, but your husband is more important than a routine:I don't mean that in a patronizing way at all.
I really do hope John gets much better: and soon. But time goes on and the body does heal itself in time.
Oh I know Candy. I'm just amazed just how much things have changed around here. Besides what I usually do I am doing a lot of the things he usually handles like weeding around the house, doing the dishes, thats right, he usually does them, cleaning the kitties box, general maintenance around the house, just to name a few. My latest endeavor was changing the Fluidmaster (ballcock) in the guest bathroom. That wasn't good for my nails.

Thank you for the well wishes Candy.
You are a new woman.
I certainly am Cherry. I am learning home maintenance now.
Cherry, for some reason I never thought of that but it makes sense and it is going to be disposable gloves for me.
I always use disposable gloves for cleaning, kjay: you don't want nasty chemicals on your hands. But do make sure to keep your kitchen gloves separate from your bathroom gloves. OK, totally obvious, but you don't want to spread any bacteria into the kitchen.
Do also respect chemicals you're using:
1. Vent the room when cleaning, basically. 2. You can do this by opening a window and running a fan. 3. And don't use too much product when cleaning: a smallish amount should suffice. 4. Finally: don't be scared of chemicals. If you're using them correctly, you have nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately, I spent all day in bed today. I just lay there, dead to the world.
I guess my body just needed to catch up. But I will try to get up much earlier tomorrow.
On the bright side: I got to sleep.
I have had some days like that recently. It was maybe the heat. I don't know. There are usually things that need doing thogh so I have got up and got moving. Usually the feeling of being totally drained passes as I get on.

Hello jen.
I do like my sleep: a great deal. But sleep is for the night-time: not the daytime. That is my rule: asleep at night, awake in the day. I always look forward to falling asleep: I feel so restful and at peace. Plus, when I wake up in the morning I feel refreshed and much better.
I certainly - however - could not get out of bed at 6am. People who get out of bed at that time are insane. No: 8am and mostly never earlier.
Im always out of bed at 6 am.. not insane just a routine.
I have dogs to care for they wont wait half the day for me to sleep and its not fair to expect them to hold their bladder just because I dont want to get up.

Cassie, 6 am, you get to sleep late lol. I'm usually up by 4:30 am.
Come on.... It's the best time of the day. lol....
In what way?
Early morning is like middle of the night in its peace and that feeling that you are alone in the world. The added joy in the morning is watching the sky change colour, hearing the world wake up around you , the birds singing and seeing the day start..

It is so peaceful. The birds are singing, the deer are coming out to feed. The sky is alive with golden and red colors. The air is cool and the dew is on the grass.

Its wonderful.
Oh dear, you are both 'morning types'. *

Cherry, I've always been a morning person. I do my best work early in the day.
