Awful. code orange for the whole area due to freezing rain making roads into skating rinks.. The salt lorries were out last night but it hasnt got everything

The cold front did come through last night and its 50 here this morning with a high today barely making it to 60. Sometimes i still do miss the snow that I grew up with then I read some of the post here and remember how awful it could get having to drive in it.

Come to think of it i am fine right where I am. lol. if I want to have "fun" in the snow I can visit my parents and friends back in New Hampshire. 

My older sister emigrated to Oz in their winter. She was the only person in town wearing a tee shirt. The locals all had jackets. 

My daughter is like that. 

Looks like we are getting a break from the rain at least, still cold, though!

It's cloudy here, and forecast for snow this afternoon. So we are out for a walk this morning.

It has warmed here too, the ice has receded.

Pah "The ice has receded" she said.

It is still frozen this morning, I will take my camera when the dog and I go out.

It's going back into the 70s today but another cold front will be here later today.
