This morning was cloudy but its turning into a lovely day..

Yesterday was beautiful the light was perfect and it wasnt too warm or too cold..

Tomorrows forecast is the same so we are planning a big walk.. ( thats one where we take sandwiches and a flask)

Seriously there are some hills in the south the highest has an altitude of about 330 mtrs which is enough to make most of us suffer altitude sickness.

My old house used to have miles of views like that. It does have it's own beauty. The main downside was the wind.

Yes the wind tears across the country and rips through you. On the other hand you can see the rain coming long before it gets you..

This is due to be the last nice October day for a while , so we made the most of it.

A good long walk at De Deelen, Friesland.. An area formally dug out for peat its now a nature reserve. We saw egrets, comerants, swans, buzzards, kingfishers, an otter and so much more... A great way to start the week..
