I dont mean fog lamps Im talking about daytime running lights .They are the daft lights that only go on at the front of the car when the ignition is switched on. However they dont light the back of the car or the number plate.
So when people use them in the dark (oh yes) or adverse weather conditions they are dangerous.
Some drivers driving at dusk or dark mistakenly think their lights are on because they can see light in front of them but they dont realise that the rear of the car is in darkness.
DRL were designed to decrease accidents involving pedestrians and cyslists in northerly countries where daylight is often short or murky.
