Been a little rainy for the past couple days. It was in the 90s. Tomorrow and Monday cooler and more rain. Good day to read Monday.
Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what.
Today looks to be sunny and in the upper 80s. We are watching the tropics closely this morning. The latest runs show a major hurricane forming in the gulf and it looks to pass us fairly close. What scares me, a lot closer than they were saying last night.
They are predicting a major hurricane to hit north of here but things could still change. It looks like Wednesday afternoon until Thursday. its going to be a long week for sure.
Today not bad with a high of around 90 and sunny. Tomorrow it will go downhill quickly with a major hurricane just of the coast of Florida, this will last thru all day Thursday. The models inches just a bit closer over night but not much. For my area, as of now, we are looking at heavy rain and some tropical force winds and possible tornados. We are on the east side of the storm and that is considered the "dirty" side where most of the bad weather is. Because of that they have issued a tropical storm watch for me area. It's going to be a long couple of days starting tomorrow. My best wishes and prayers go out to the people who will be in the line of direct impact.
Thank you Cherry, Not much has changed. The models are all pretty much the same. We are waiting for the 5pm update now.
Will your area be affected, Karen?
Yes but not to extent of the areas in the direct path. It looks to pass west of us which means we will get some tropical force winds, heavy rain and possible tornados when the feeder bands pass through. That is typical when you are to the east of the center.

Even though we are quite a ways from the track of the storm the tropical force winds extend out over 275 miles. This a huge storm and that is why we have warnings here.
Not much changed regarding the forecast durning the night. Tropical Storm Warning and a Tornado Watch here with possible tornados later in the day. I have a feeling it is going to be a long day.
