I went to Whitby Goth festival a few years back, and it was very apparent that the running order might as well have been the professionalism order, as each band was more professional than the last. This was not just my musical opinion as the band who were billed second, I was not at all fussy on. But you could see they were more professional than the previous, who I loved.

That year it was more Steam Punk, than goth.

These usa steam punk guys were headlining.

The album "U2: Best of 1980 - 1990" on CD.

I did find that interesting!  It falls under the "I never thought about it, but it make sense" umbrella.  Like, Taylor Swift singing while on a treadmill.  We gauge walking/hiking intensity by the ability to hold a conversation with others.

Not much beats them for strange, yet accessible.

I'm not into the Doors myself but can appreciate their talent.
