I don’t have a certain favorite brand. The most important thing is that it should be of the right color and quality. I order a different type every time.

I tend to be similar. Mostly mid range as I find the cheapest very poor and the most expensive is, obviously, expensive. The colour is important though as I will go more upmarket for the right colour.
I used to stick pretty much to one brand, well at a time. For awhile I would be into one and then another and another lol. Over time I realized I was waisting money so now I have a favorite mascara, a favorite lipstick, a favorite foundation, favorite ... all from different makers.

I am much the same. I know what I like, and I dislike having lots of makeup that I will probably never use.
since i never go anywhere or have any real occasion to wear makeup, i got rid of everything except my foundations and some light frosty lip gloss. but when am i ever gonna need to wear that crap with a mask on? i can only wear nail polish when i'm on vacation which is now only 8 measly days a year. *shrugs* i don't need to be pretty anyway. most of the time i am sporting bed head and jammies. getting dolled up for that would be stupid on my part.

I think it happens due to my interest in cosmetology. I even enrolled in a link removed. I plan to open my beauty studio in the future. Btw, do you think a girl should wear makeup every day? Many experts say that it is harmful to health. However, I believe that everything should be reasonable. The most important thing is to choose a good manufacturer.

I am not a make-up person. Gosh, I don't even know how to tbh. This is one thing that I wanna learn. Some women are so good at it. They really know how to combine colours and creatively apply it on their face. Whether I go out or stay at home, I still wear lipstick and eyeliner. I do it for myself. Love it.

I find some of the colour things easier as I think about my art. I do portraits from time to time so do blend colours on faces. It's seldom I paint people with makeup though. It's somehow easier to use makeup than paint someone who is wearing it but I think, like everything, practice helps. One thing I do use, although not often, is colour correctors to tone down and blend in patchy areas of my face. It's one thing that I do find easier to use as it relates directly to colour mixing in art.

Hey, are you a bit of an artist? I suck in blending colours. That's why I tend to stick with just graphite pencil. I don't need to colour my stick figures.

I never started spending money on makeup. My sisters did a bit, but I guess I followed my mum in not considering it worth the cost. A friend from work once gave me a makeover and I didn't think it looked like me, though I'm pretty sure she knew what she was doing... It just felt weird to me, so I guess it was too late to change my mind on that topic.
I don't mind the cost of nail polish and some jewelry, but I like my face to be natural. I can put on a smile, though, and that'll help!

I love blending colours. It used to be that I couldn't draw though so I took lessons in drawing.

Do you paint? Water colour, acrylic or pastel painting.

I mainly use acrylics but do use water colours and occasionally oils. I am not keen on pastels. My avatar is one of my acrylic paintings. That reminds me to change it as it was really a Christmas one (the Snowdog from 'The Snowman and the Snowdog').

Maybe I shall, jen.
One of my favourite mediums are crayons. I'd love to use adult crayons: they look modern and quirky and just WORK. I definitely love acryllic, too. I am useless with watercolours. I do like charcoal. Coloured pencils I love, too.
I do body peeling, I also use moisturizer. However, I started using face cream last month and I can feel the difference. I use a cream with aloe vera extract. My skin is getting softer and I am starting to glow.
There has been much talk about issues with talcum powder in recent years although many would have been familiar with it as babies / children: Talcum powder
It is worth looking on the baby aisle for some things, eg cotton wool, as the price of a similar product on the makeup aisle is often hiked up.

You're right to take such good care of your skin: I use face cream every night, like clockwork.
