Shoes. I always put on my right shoe first, and I always take it off last.
How odd.
I'll have to pay attention next time.. I feel like I do either one lol kind of like whichever shoe I happen to grab first depending on which side I am grabbing them from.

Sometimes you do have to look at yourself and ask yourself "why?".

My brain is usually all about efficiency lol or well, like we mentioned, depending on the task... which hand I'm dominant with ;p
I get confused with this dominant hand thing. How is it that someone who is right handed (generally) usually plays a right handed guitar, moving their left hand fingers with more dexteritory than those of their right. Does that mean that fingers are not actuually 'handed' in the same way and it is only gross movement that is affected?

Learning to use my less dominant hand is something I work on every day of the week. The first thing I do is look at what my hands are actually doing in any given action, and it is not rare to find that often, it is my 'wrong' hand that is doing the skilful bit.
Tipping a bucket springs to mind. The right hand just holds the handle, it is the left that meters out just how much I want to tip.
I have been discussing this for ages on here. I really ought to start a thread on it soon, as it is a valuable skill to have two hands for various reasons.
I can't write with my left hand, but a lot of others tasks I do alternate between hands because otherwise they'll get stiff and hurt anyway.
Look at typing... I'm typing with both hands very quickly. You wouldn't tell which one was more dominant... but using a mouse, I think you can tell lol
I can use both hands with a mouse, so I get rsi equally.
Hence I never use a mouse.
I mean, technically I can as well to a certain extent, but it's awkward because of which fingers I'm used to for right and left, if having to use both quickly. If I'm just scrolling and clicking on things without having to do any other tasks, then I can do it with my left.

There was an extended period at work when I used to use a trackball with my desktop computer left handed which did irritate others because they couldn't and had to move everything when they needed to use it.
Years ago I learnt to write left-handed and, although it took a while, succeeded (although I don't write often enough these days so have not kept it up). I was surprised to find that my left and right-handed writing looked identical.
When I use the computer keyboard these days I use both hands equally although mainly the first two fingers of each hand rather than full touch-typing. I did have some training in college but was never employed as a typist so didn't keep it up.
