I bet my kids think I have a clothing disorder, since I prefer bright colours and they're all into grey or black, maybe a very dark blue (so dark it's mistaken for black at times). I do try to keep from having overly loud clothes, though - solid on top if the bottom is a print, and solid on bottom for the few printed tops...
I tend to wear more brightly colored clothes and prints. Dark colors don't work well here in Florida.
i took the pill for about a year or two before going on Depo-provera for like 8 years straight so I probably have bird bones. the pill made me queasy even on low-dose versions. for the past 6 years (? who knows time anymore) i've had the Mirena IUD in which lasts for 5 years but last year i needed mine replaced maybe 8 months earlier than it was scheduled to because my body started to push it out. i metabolize a lot of medications quickly though so i wonder if it was "empty" or if it was just a fluke.
at first i wondered if i had appendicitis or something because one night i got a sudden, intense stabbing pain in my lower abdomen but only on my right side and i could barely stand straight up but i was like it could just be the worst gas i've ever experienced?? so i waited a couple of days and the pain dulled but then i started bleeding so i thought maybe this is just a spontaneous period as can happen? it has been so long since i've had a period that i forget what mine were even like. but when the bleeding became fairly heavy and lasted two weeks i finally sought medical attention (& had to wait almost another week to get in to someone, lol) and they were like oh it's coming out let's just replace it. both times i've had it inserted i saw the face of god but i imagine that's nothing compared to childbirth. so far everything is good but we'll see in 3 years. oh dear, that soon already?
i use condoms with my non-monogamous partners. i'm mildly allergic to latex (as in skin reaction rather than anaphylaxis) and the non-latex ones are stupid expensive comparatively :/
I took the pill for years to regulate my cycle at first. After suffering a pulmonary embolism just after I turned 26, my ex and I switched to condoms. I then suffered very infrequent, but extremely heavy cycles and ended up anemic, then ultimately hospitalized to undergo multiple blood transfusions as well as a D&C. After that, I found that my clotting disorder was inherited from my dad. Also, the least invasive way to treat my issue was with the Mirena IUD. It was a life changer/saver! I've had it replaced twice. I never had issues with it being placed/replaced, just minor discomfort for a day or so. A couple of years after marrying, my current hubby volunteered to be snipped so that I wouldn't have to replace it a third time.
Have had the Mirena twice also. They are great for regulating cycles.

We have exactly the same story! Up to here: "A couple of years after marrying, my current hubby volunteered to be snipped so that I wouldn't have to replace it a third time" because I passed that age of getting pregnant.
