Better after reading all your responses to my thread "Depressed and Stuck". I am NOT thinking about suicide, so that is not a risk or on the agenda.
Feeling grateful for what I DO have works: I may not live in a mansion or a fancy townhouse BUT I have a roof over my head and my apartment is smartly decorated and home. I also have people in my life who DO care: you guys included. It is just the time of year everyone questions their lives and goals and emotions.
I will get through this. And just have to reach up.
I'm a little worried today. My daughter's ill she's been having headaches and was sent to the neurologist who has referred her for an MRI scan. But she also had some stomach aches and a urine sample showed blood in the urine and blood tests showed an infection so doctor put her on a course of strong antibiotics for a week these really upset her stomach and gave her a rash. Near to the end of the antibiotic course they repeated her blood work instead of reducing the infection or infections have gone up, the antibiotics have not worked. She already had an appointment to see the doctor tomorrow but today the assistant phoned and told her *remember your appointment please do not miss this appointment it's very important...* They have also said if she starts to feel ill or vomit she is to phone the emergency doctor immediately.
I really hope they have answers for her tomorrow. I lost my little brother to sepsis a couple of years ago so it plays on my mind.

I hope things go well. Symptoms like that are always important so it is good that they are insitant.

Good luck, Cassie. The feeling of helplessness does not go away when they are not right just coz they grow up.

Cassie, I'm hoping everything will turn out well. Sending my prayers and hugs. 💕
Well the GP has ordered addtional tests including a heart film on Friday. Still no definate answers though. Its tough when your children are sick no matter how old they are..
I still don't feel well.. I wake up every morning feeling run-down and nauseous with a mild headache. My nose keeps having this full feeling, but there is no congestion. My eyes have also been very itchy... It almost is like I'm having terrible allergies or something. Nothing I have tried has helped so far.. it's just this chronic icky feeling. Figures this happens when I am working longer hours =/ I don't feel like working at all...

Heatherly, I think it is time to see your doctor. You sound very run down and mustn't work: you're just too ill. Do realize people will understand: you're not a slacker and shouldn't push on when you are feeling so sick.

It vaguely sounds like a sinus infection to me but I am not a doctor. It's perhaps best to have it checked out. I hope you feel better soon. Please take care of yourself
I'm a bit under the weather this morning. Bad cramps, no not that kind, And I feel a bit nauseous. I'm thinking of staying in and doing a little work from home today.
As we crossed the junction of the city ring road a swan was walking towards us. we beeped it and it got onto the verge but it was heading into 6 lanes of fast moving traffic so we pulled over and OH went along the verge and managed to coax it back to a nearby pond with its family...

I hope it stays safe now.
Your OH is a hero. I always feel devastated when I see dead animals on the roadside: they don't understand that vehicles won't stop for them and they just run blindly through traffic out of fear. It isn't right [that they are killed on the roadside] and it shouldn't happen [when road users don't try to help the animal, if it is possible: like your OH did].
Your OH is someone who understands exactly this. Again, a life has been saved.
I'm happy at the moment as I have completed all I intended to do today. I will hopefully talk to my grandaughter on the computer later to complete my day.

I love keeping busy and getting things done. I don't keep a list: I keep what I need to do in my mind instead. I also like to get things done by late morning/early afternoon. I keep myself busy.
Being active makes me feel good and I love the feeling of achievement: whether it's finishing reading a novel/cooking a meal/working on my English A-Level/doing my Internet work/cleaning my apartment.
I don't like lying in bed all day: I want to live an organized and busy life with a sense of achievement.
