Odd expressions

Cherry is wrong!


Joking - no-one has ever used that expression.

To 'Coin a Phrase', and 'Kill Two Birds with One Stone' (one more actually) - When did you 'Lose Your Cherry' lol (no you don't have to answer that ).

I'll change the fruit - 'An apple a day keeps the doctor away'

Oh I see the sense in that one... George can get very grumpy if you wake him lol...

My first was like that. In fact she was so easy, I wondered if I should write a book.

My second cured me of that notion.

My grandad used to say "That will put hairs on your chest" Just as well he was having fun, coz I thought that having a hairy chest must be a good thing.

I hear the word f*ck used so often in everyday speech: my sister, my friends... you name it, it's used. I seldom use that word myself, but can understand its meaning when used in anger. Obviously.

Swearing is so common in everyday life: even celebrities like to swear!

Who invented swearing, by the way? Where does it originate from?
