Would you wear heels if...

My husband is quite small and I continued to grow after we married I ended up 2 inches taller than him , but that never stopped me... or him. He loved having this tall statuesque woman on his arm.
I know I've told this story before but one time he was coming home after being away in England I went to meet him at the port.
Little black dress black stockings long black leather coat in very high black stilettos... I walked through the arrivals building and watched as every head turned. I stood and waited and as he came through the gates the guy he was walking with nudged him, laughed and said someone's in for a treat tonight... My husband just grinned and said I know I am!!!

I would, nothing would stop me from wearing my heels.lol...

Heels ...A... what....Oh them ,well now not worn mine for a long time and really i,m high enough as it is at 5 9. many guys i dance with are pretty close a few a bit higher and some a bit shorter, none of them give a care we are there to dance and have a good time i quess with in our group,s we have 150 member,s .

As it is i wear flat.es will i wear heals dancing doubt it as i have no need, and really would not improve my looks in any way  and we have a Scottish Ball coming up 17 th this month and if all goes well Pam my dance partner will have a new man to dance with , So will be interesting how i will go so i will take my camera gear as a backup if i dont get to dance i,ll just do photo,s and natter to other,s there,

One issue i have in no male dance partner if it were not for Pam i would miss out i dont expect other men to dance with me if thier partners are at our dance evening,s

I cant get a guy and i have been trying to find a few to come, for myself no interest yet we go around the south island to many dance,s oh well.....

I am fairly tall anyway so don't wear heels often, partly for that reason. In answer to the question here - no I probably wouldn't.

My ex was 5'11 and my hubby now is 6'1 so I never have that problem but If they are shorties, I would wear flat when I am with them but high heels when I am not.

Those are the heights of my ex and hubby as well!

I'm 5'8, so tall enough.  I wear heels (3" max) on special occasions or when visiting different offices where I don't have to walk a lot.  Normally, I walk about a half mile from my car to my office every morning, then another quarter mile or so to different buildings during work.  So, only comfortable walking shoes for the most part.

I have dated shorter men by only an inch or so.  I never restricted my footwear for any man.  When one slightly taller guy said "No heels for you," I dumped him.

I'm also 5'3. And I also would love to be taller!

BUT being tall takes confidence. You're towering above everyone, so you can't hide in a crowd. Your feet are usually bigger, too: large feet on women are not always the norm.

Being tall seems great, but it isn't.

I do ware heels that makes me taller than my husband, I'm 5"4, my husband is 5"7. I end up 5"8/9 he says that my legs look longer which he loves.

I find this topic really interesting, I have never thought something like "how does my height makes my partner feel?" With that liberty and the fact that we both can wear heels (or not) if we want to, it all comes to where are we going and how long are we going to be there.

No matter how tall or short you are, if you want to wear heels do it.

I do quite a bit of my shopping for shoes online but there is nothing like going to a good shoe store and trying them on and on and on. Oh and of course buying them.

LOL, we seem to disagree a little here. Those pleasers are horrid. 

The rainbow shoes are lovely, but you can only wear rainbow shoes with plain colours, is the problem.

I'm 5'11" but the only man who I'll switch to flats for is Old Man Winter when he turns our driveways and sidewalks into skating rinks.
