I generally don't believe in that kind of superstitions, though hospitals have their own weird stuff that seems to be true sometimes. Thanks anyway!

We are decorating our summer house. It's now tidy. Tomorrow we are going to put little lights up on the walls before we fit the hot tub.

It's funny how we remember Friday 13th. Through life it has usually been a lucky day for me but, even so, I still remember well the one time years ago when I dropped a pair of glasses and they broke across the bridge lol

My family considers it a lucky day, too! Both my mom and brother were born on the 13th, and my bday is 31... so backwards 13. Of course I'd be the backwards one, I'm always the oddball ;p

We were out early this morning and were surprised to find quite a few other people were as well..

We saw a balloon take off and watched as it drifted away.. very relaxing.

Ive just taken sausage rools and cheese muffins out of the oven and Ive got my cake stand out and my 3 tiered serving stands ( its just nicer than flat plates) everything is on schedule

A failrly ordinary Sunday with me.

Yesterday was good. I got the whole house cleaned, well, all the important bits.

There IS the superstition that all relationships started on Friday 13th are doomed to fail.

I cannot ignore the fact strange things happen in the world: and universe. And science cannot always explain it. Because there ARE forces at work: forces we don't understand. If we ever do, I don't know. But there is some truth in beliefs and superstitions. Not all of it is true: there are many fakers and liars. But - occasionally - weird things do occur. There may well be a scientific explanation, but not always.

We'd be arrogant to say we know everything about the universe and that science explains everything. It doesn't. Not everything is simple: not everything is black or white. There are so many areas of grey. And that grey is the mystery beyond us.

First my morning walk and then a not to busy day at work. At least I hope so.

My younger brother and his family was here from Tues last week and just left yesterday. They were at my house Thu, Fri, Sat and then my sister had a party in her backyard for them on Sunday. We all had a little too much to drink. My BIL has four beer kegs in the backyard going on at the same time so he kept pouring and pouring.

It was very enjoyable. I am very glad that my brother is doing very well and the kids are catching up with us in no time.

Ive done the shopping for the old people today and I wont be around tomorrow , Im off to Germany again.

Tidied the garage, tidied our large lean to, repaired the garden tool box [it needed a base], and put up a magnetic knife rack in the kitchen.
