You bring home your bag of peaches, you put them in the bowl, and you choose the nicest looking one.
It's as hard as a rock, and as dry as a really dry thing that I haven't thought of yet, but may get back to you later with.
Soooooo, you put it back in the bowl for a few days to 'ripen at home'.
The next time you take a bite it tastes lovely, fair enough, I apreciate that it has ripened, and that the chemical reactions have changed the flavour.

However it is also juicy.
Where did all that water come from?
I'm assuming it is coming from cells that rupture durning the ripening process.
Why doesn't the american government realize that the reason why the job report is terrible because the American people are just too lazy to get a job, they would rather stick their hand out for those federal umemployment support than getting a job?
That brings another question that my husband posed. Maybe the jobs can't be filled because there are no qualified people? it's probably because 1) People are so lazy to learn or 2) it's so expensive to get an education in America so why the idiotic Betsy DeVos did no see this?

If you could see what passes for help in food service these days you'd understand. The decent help leaves partly because of the crappy help. If you hire someone to work in food service you expect them to know a little something about food. Or so one would think. These people hafta have their hands held and have others do the thinking for them. It mystifies me how they got the job to begin with. I should've left and got unemployment and spent that time getting set up for work at home stuff. But I decided I needed to be there for the pandemic to help take care of the patients. No food service the patients don't eat.
This is my question...this really sticks in my craw...
Whenever they honor the front line workers it's always the nurses and doctors. Why?
They're not the only ones in the facility being exposed. We may not be face to face with covid but we're face to face with them when they come to eat. I think everyone who worked during the pandemic that was exposed to the gen pop needs to be recognized.

It' the same over here, and always has been.
Problems in the hospital? Get more nurses, more doctors, and sack the managers - end of problem!!!
At least the doctors and nurses were well paid for their risk taking. Who whizzed all the patients to the doctors and nurses? The porters! About the worst paid in the hospital.
What about shop staff, and that end of the pay scale type employees?
Why do children become rebellious at a certain age?
A good question! I presume you mean the terrible two's. I think theymay become self aware to the extent that they realise that they are having a dominant effect on their environment and can exert control. At that point it can go several ways dependant on how parents and child interact. The rebellion seems to come from the child's failure to get their own way, as they want, or to cope with their relationship with their parents. I think some parents effectively rebel too in that their failure to cope raises their stress and negative interaction with their child.
Teen rebellion is probably more to do with departing the nest, I think.
i'd rather put up with that than having to have a catheter as a man. or have to turn my head and cough for the prostate check. lol!
Women also have to suffer through catheters lol
I don't believe prostate checks are painful at least, just awkward ;p But we have to have our boobs grabbed and people insert their fingers and metal objects into our lady parts! lol
Why do children become rebellious at a certain age?
I know part of it is hormonal changes... But some people when they "come into their own" become more rebellious than others. It's like they want to push boundaries to see what they can get away with.
I was never really rebellious, but I had my brooding and moodiness for sure.

The terrible two?
Children are lovely at two. They just want to learn, so everything is important. I had four kids, and they were all lovely at two. Though 'challenging behaviour' was a part of that learning process.

The "terrible two's" is a generalised saying, I think. My two were completely different as one of them was rebelious from a very early age until mid teens at least whereas the other was far easier. He was intelligent enough to realise that he could get on far better with compromise and negotiation. At two I think he was happy to own up to issues as he knew we would not get angry. That and seeing that his brother only created problems by rebelling. They have both turned out well but I know which seemed easier lol
To kick a tire on a truck ,car or tractor was in frustation because it would not start up remember this is going back to 1890.s and later and was only men who did, because many machines were sensitve in the wiring and gismos that had issue,s with elcterics,
So to kick the tire was to make it go and in that did some times or if the tire was flat same idear never worked,.....lol,s what i had found was a loose wire that had fibrated loose.
I,d be surprised if it worked on the more later machines, oh and tires were some were harder and not like we have now

I remember that bashing the TV thing and I'm not that old! I guess it's because I come from a country where all of these modern things came and were being sold much later than in other parts of the world. I even remember us using the rotary phone when I was a kid back in the 90's.
