My argument is that I do use them all at some point, whereas OH has kept a motorcycle jacket even though he now has no bike and never will again..

Hes fine, there are changes thats inevitable, but at the moment we are coping well with them and enjoying our time together.

I guess you just have to treasure the time you have with him now: like I did when I knew Michael was slipping away with dementia. Making the most of the time I spent with him has helped heal the sorrow. But there is always a part of me that misses Michael terribly. He was my soulmate.

I have a smaller bag for walks too. It can carry my keys, phone, tissues and just has room for a paperback if I am going to the book exchange.
